- The best news first: As of now the kingdom is almost 100% vaccinated.
- Next best news. At the end of 2022, the Kingdom of Bhutan has had fewer than 30 deaths so far.
- As of September 2022 Bhutan is now reopened for international travellers.

Tourist visas to India have resumed for fully vaccinated travellers. Vaccination proofs (accepted from some countries only) or negative PCR test report before flight to India is required. However, travel options are still limited due to the air bubble agreements. Land entry and exit into and out of Bhutan is expected to start this summer. |

Vaccinated travelers from most countries might transit through Dhaka. Regular flight connection with Bhutan might resume in April 2022. |

Visa-on-arrival are being issued and quarantine was lifted for fully vaccinated tourists. Unvaccinated travelers need regular visas from Nepali embassy and quarantine for 5 days after arrival. Regular flight connection from Kathmandu to Bhutan have resumed from January 2022. |
| Singapore 🇸🇬 |
Transit is possible for most countries through Singapore. Regular flight connection with Bhutan resumed from January 2022. |
| Thailand 🇹🇭 |
Travel to Thailand without quarantine is currently possible for vaccinated people. For unvaccinated, 10 days quarantine remains compulsory. Regular flight connection from Bangkok to Bhutan has resumed. |
